BOAT LAUNCH 9-9:30AM AT THE North port Boat launch

There are two great options if you choose to start from North Port. You can go up the river north, or south to Charlotte Harbor, Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda.

If you head north you will have a great opportunity to see the endemic Myakka River State Park. The park is exclusive to Florida and the only place in the world you can see this wildlife and habitat! Take a tour of the river up north. Great place to see gators!

If you choose to go south you can head out to Charlotte Harbor and visit downtown Punta Gorda. There is a great place to dock the boat at Laishley Park. You can then choose to stroll through the historic and #1 Rated small city in the USA! Almost everything is within 10min walking!

LUNCH DOCKSIDE 12-2:30PM

Enjoy a meal and a beverage at your choice of local waterfront restaurants and pubs! Up the river is Sook Haven a true hidden gem in a rustic setting! 

If you head south to Charlotte Harbor. There are two great docking locations either downtown Laishley Park or Fisherman's Village. Fishermans Village is a popular tourist spot, has a dock, marina and plaza with a variety of shopping and dining options. Local favorite and newly opened Scotty's Brew House is an excellent choice!

CRUISE BACK TO THE DOCK 3-5PM

It is about an hour cruise back to North Port Boat Launch from Punta Gorda.
